Tank Material Selection Guide

For chrome plating, PP is the standard choice due to its excellent resistance to chromic acid. Tank walls are typically 10-20mm thick depending on size and depth.

All plating tanks are fabricated with sloped bottoms (approximately 5° toward drain) to facilitate complete drainage during cleaning. Tanks over 600mm depth include internal gussets or external steel reinforcement for added strength.
